Terms and Conditions for Maraka Motors Ltd. – Car Detailing Services

Welcome to Maraka Motors Ltd. (“we,” “our,” or “us”). These Terms and Conditions (“Agreement”) govern your use of our professional car detailing services. By booking an appointment, using our services, or accessing our website, you agree to be bound by this Agreement. Please read it carefully.

1. General Information

Maraka Motors Ltd. provides professional car detailing services aimed at enhancing and preserving the appearance of your vehicle. Our services may include interior and exterior cleaning, waxing, polishing, and more, as outlined on our website or shared by our team.

• Booking: Appointments can be made online, by phone, or in person and are subject to availability.

• Payment: Payment is due upon completion of the service. We accept MasterCard, Visa, debit cards, American Express, cash, e-transfers, and certified cheques.

• Cancellations/Rescheduling: Please notify us at least 6 hours in advance to cancel or reschedule. Late cancellations may incur a cancellation fee.

4. Customer Responsibilities

• Vehicle Access: Ensure your vehicle is unlocked and accessible at your scheduled time. Inaccessibility may result in rescheduling or additional charges.

• Personal Belongings: Remove all personal items from your vehicle. Maraka Motors Ltd. is not responsible for any lost or damaged personal items.

• Vehicle Condition: If your vehicle requires excessive cleaning (e.g., mud, pet hair, infestations), additional fees may apply. We reserve the right to refuse service if the condition prevents standard detailing.

5. Service Limitations and Disclaimers

• Pre-Existing Damage: We are not responsible for existing issues such as dents, scratches, or paint defects.

• Stains & Odors: While we use high-quality products, full removal of all stains or odors is not guaranteed.

• Weather Conditions: Outdoor services may be rescheduled due to inclement weather for quality assurance.

6. Liability and Damages

• Limited Liability: We take care during service but are not liable for any damage unless caused by our negligence or intentional misconduct. Liability is limited to the value of the service or cost of repair, whichever is lower.

• No Liability for Personal Items: We are not responsible for damage to or loss of personal belongings left inside the vehicle.

• General Limitation: Our liability is limited to the amount paid for the service.

7. Privacy and Data Protection

Personal information collected during bookings is handled per our Privacy Policy. By booking our services, you consent to the collection and use of your data in accordance with that policy.

8. Right to Refuse Service

We reserve the right to refuse service in cases including, but not limited to:

• Excessively poor vehicle condition (e.g., biohazards, pests, etc.)

• Non-payment or billing issues

• Harassment or unruly conduct toward our staff

• Lack of required vehicle access or information

9. Changes to Services and Pricing

We may modify, update, or discontinue services and prices at any time. Existing bookings will be honored at the rates confirmed at time of booking.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Alberta, Canada, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any legal disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Alberta.

11. Indemnity

By using our services, you agree to indemnify and hold harmless Maraka Motors Ltd., its employees, owners, and agents from any claims, losses, or damages arising from your use of our services.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms and Conditions periodically. Any changes will be posted on our website and become effective immediately upon posting. Please review this Agreement regularly for updates.
